5. Mentor Partnership
Planning for communication, meeting dates and times and other details can be decided during an initial meeting between mentor and mentee.
Facilitate mentor partnership activities. Meet with educator on a regular basis to provide support. Complete Mentor Partnership Agreement. Meet with mentor on a regular basis. Review and complete the Mentor Partnership Agreement.
6. Professional Development
This process is based on TRIM, a nationally validated process for the design, development, and evaluation of continuing professional development.
Administer Needs Assessment, score and determine training outcomes.
Identify resources, determine trainer and delivery method.
Complete Early Career Educator Needs Assessment.
7. Implement Professional Development
Facilitate professional development activities which can consist of either district/school inservice or individual action plans developed by the mentor partnership.
Implement professional development, facilitate follow-up and reflection. Plan and complete follow-up and reflection activities with early career educator. Complete professional development, plan and complete follow-up and reflection with mentor's assistance.

9. Resurvey at end of first year
Readminister Early Career Educator Needs Assessment to plan for following year.
