The Teaching Research Institute-Eugene is part of Western Oregon University. The University and The Teaching Research Institute are located in Monmouth, Oregon. The Eugene office is home to projects primarily related to traumatic brain injury, and other special education research.

The Eugene office is located in the Atrium in downtown Eugene, just across the street from the Lane Transit District station.
